CONSERVATION FOR ADULTS

Please nomiminate those deserving souls, who educate
our youth in conservation, for the Gold Hornaday Badge.

Yes, even the adults can earn awards in conservation. It is our hope on the conservation committee to promote adults, as well as youth, to recognize your accomplishments as well.

Leave No Trace Award

Leave No Trace Award Patch Not only can you learn and train your scouts in Leave No Trace ethics and skills, but you can even become a trainer, and a master trainer to train other trainers. Please watch the council calendar for these training opportunities.

The Conservation Good Turn Award
This is an awesome way for you to be involved with your son's unit to both "Clean up America" and to earn an award. Your son's unit would partner with a local organization and help them to perform age appropriate tasks to help that agency with their work. Please see the section on Agency phone numbers and contacts to help get your unit started. This will require oversight by parents/unit leaders to keep tasks age appropriate.
